Andreas Weigend, Social Data Revolution | MS&E 237, Stanford University, Spring 2011 | Syllabus

Where does the term come from? Startup are often told: "Eat your own dogfood"... Most DFs for this course are playing with social data products, There is one dogfood assigned for every week (due Thursdays at noon). Don't think of them as heavy assignment. They are simple, fun, short and sweet. View it as 1-2 hours hour of prep for a topic. Especially when we have a guest from a company, you will get a lot more out of that class when you have played with the product beforehand. The submissions are a couple of insights, The grader will summarize the insights after the and post a couple of outstanding answers.
